  2. It is because the slot can only maintain up 2 gig. Any bigger won't work. . maybe because the function say so. . if you need more memory. . better buy iPhone. . i'm so buying this. .

  3. im not sure why, but yes u can forget about the 16GB card.

  4. no only up 2 2 gb

  5. It means the memory card slot is not MicroSDHC (MicroSD High Capacity) compatible. The normal microSD is up to 2 GB and the MicroSDHC can be up to 32 GB. If your phone doesn't support any microSD more than 2 GB then forget about any microSDHC because your phone can't read the MicroSDHC.

  6. There could be many reasons:

    a) the bigger capacity cards are using a higher density technology that the phone hardware cannot handle (this is the most likely cause)

    b) software limitations make the phone not to be able to handle bigger capacity sizes

    c) the 2GB were considered as HUGE at the time the phone was released and the standard on the market was 256 MB, so the marketing team thought that it is OK to advertise "only" 2G (less likely)

If a) or b) there's nothing you can do. If c) you can try a bigger memory card and it might work. I hold say however that the chances for you to get it working is very dim so keep using a 2GB or change to a new phone model with higher storage capacity - Not iPhone though, that really sucks
