  1. It means that you dont have any savings to use for a safety net. When you get paid your expenses equal what you take home and you have to live on that amount until you get paid again.

  2. Living paycheck to paycheck is when you have to use all of your paycheck on rent/mortgage, gas, food, and etc. Usually you dont have any money left over for entetainment. Also you cant miss work ever because then you wont be able to pay one of your bills.

  3. some people spend exactly what they make every paycheck.  They don't have money stored up and so when they get paid, they use it all up on things they need until they run out. If they run out a week early (or however early they run out) t hey have to really cut back that week until they get their next paycheck.

  4. It means your not paid enough to have money left between pay checks. Usually mine is spent before I get the pay check because the bills take most of it and whats left over we barely have enough for grocery's for the week.

  5. It means the individual in question is not planning for the future, at least not monetarily.

  6. When a person gets paid, the money is either already going to bills or will soon be gone. There is no money until the next paycheck.

  7. Living paycheck to paycheck is when you don't have any "extra" money.  Your receive your check and you immediately need to spend the entire amount on bills, you don't have any money left over for savings or 'fun'.  Your next paycheck comes and again, bills!

  8. means your broke most of the time

  9. Living paycheck to paycheck means the person has been subconsciously programed by an ill society to believe there is no hope for that individual.

When you are given hope as a child, you will believe that you are capable of anything.  People who live paycheck to paycheck have at some point come to the belief that they will have to struggle in life.  This is not always a conscious belief... nor is it the fault of the individual in question.

The fault lies when the person realizes there is more to life, and fails to do anything about it.

  10. it means that you barely make enough money to live on until the next paycheck comes

  11. It means your expenses and costs of living bring you down to $5 or $10 dollars left the day before your next paycheck and this situation never ends.
