For example...green means health.)

  1. the color does not matter

  2. None...it´s just a matter of choice.

  3. its a place and it means Good End of Bahia(which is the state)

  4. The ribbons are not magics. They're just ribbons.

    These things about the ribbon colors are supertitions.

    You can trust me. I'm from Brazil and it's a big supertition. XOXO!

  5. There is no meaning for any color. Some people there just believe you can have 3 wishes when you use it. That is all. :)

  6. There are a few meanings, although here in Brazil we don't really usually care much for the color.

    First of all, either blue works if you are making a wish for peace and serenity.

    Also, light blue is the color of "Oxumaré", the deity of the quick rains, also represented by St. Bartholomeu, and Blue is the color of "Oxum", deity of rivers and lakes, represented also by Nossa Senhora Aparecida.

    Whichever wish you make, remeber:

    While making the wish don't forget to tie the 3 knots WHILE making the wish;

    And don't tell ANYONE of the wish you made until it comes true.
