What is the meaning of the name Bello?

Bello = Handsome in Italian. Itaians also use it as a term of endearment for friends. My other half is Italian, and he'll often say "Ciao bello" (to his male friends) or "Ciao bella" (to his female friends), but it doesn't mean he's either g*y or about to run off with another woman!

It means Beautiful (for a boy) ... for a girl it is Bella

Also, it could be Spanish or Italian. In Spanish it is pronounced like "bay-yo" or "bay-jo" and in Italian it is pronounced "bel-lo"
