What is the meaning of the word Naturalist?

okay in my literature class i'm learning about realism and romanticism but i've can't figure out the meaning to naturalist. i've read the passage over and over but i can't fiure it oput does anybody know the meanig of naturalist

One who is entranced by nature, loving all things that are natural and organic.  A naturalist prefers things that pertain to the planet, such as natural supplements instead of prescription drugs to treat ailments, and also believes in the preservation of the planet.  Think green!
