What is the meaning of this I just don't under stand ?

So I have a normal period since I was like 12 but sometimes it gets messed up because of the alcohol and weed but I stopped that. So I had my period like a week ago and the a couple days ago I thought I got it again but it wasn't really period is was like brown and when I get my period its red of course,so It was very light and brown colored and it only lasted like 2-3 days and I'm highly confused like what the h**l is going on and just so you know I'm no a little kid I'm over the age of 16 but younger then 20 lol I think I got this once or twice before but I would really like to know what the h**l it is and why I get it? can someone help me out?

You could be spotting in between periods. If you are on birth control it could be the birth control you are on causing this. If you are not on birthcontrol I would consult your doctor about this. Maybe they can put you on a birthcontrol to help regulate everything. It is nothing to really be worried about it is normal and a lot of females have these problems.
