this is the quote-"They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions," said Atticus, "but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience." -Atticus

  1. This means that people are allowed to believe what they want, and nobody can argue with their beliefs, but a person does not have to do what others say.  The right thing to do is not determined by how many people think that one thing is right.

  2. It means you can listen to other's opinions/views but you should not go along with them if it is not what make you feel happy.. The only opinion that should make you happy is your own.

  3. it means;

    Everyman must decide for himself what is right and wrong.

    If you go along with the majority but aren't happy with yourself you will suffer

  4. It means that each of us is entitled to an opinion and we should respect the opinions of others although we may not agree with them, but the only opinion that counts is your own and that one is guided by your own sense of right and wrong.
