is that dutch? sounds somewhat similar to the german word "ausgeschlafen" which means something like "well rested".

'ausschlafen' means 'to sleep in'

I'm not positive, but I've heard something like that from South African friends as a morning greeting, so I'm guessing it means something like "[Did you] sleep well?"

I think that is a South African greeting word similar to 'good day'  or 'hello'.  I will have to research further with my African colleagues.
