  5. Well, it seems it is a proverb that can impliment on human being. about my side i can just guess that.

    if someone trying to get something from a small place that may some big places about the side. on the other hand it can be said that if yours families with you then you never need to go to yours friends. so thats why it can be said in proverb sence that Door is open closs windows.

  10. It might mean, and this is a total guess, that the person talking to you is informing you that any and all doors are open and the person talking to you might also want you to close any and all windows that are currently open.
