  1. If someone has a yeast infection...

    In a urinalysis there would be WBCs and yeast either budding or pseudohyphae(which indicates candida).

    And if a culture is ordered, the yeast would also grow on the media and the lab could ID and do a sensitivity on it.


  2. If the lab did a routine urinalysis, they might report seeing yeast cells.

    They are common, and known to be because of contamination from the vaginal secretions, and some labs do not bother to report them at all.
