this may sound goofy but, you can chop up the piece you are planning to ingest and mix it in some applesauce.  Doesn't taste bad and goes down very easily.

Eat them, boil them in water then drink the juice, or dry them out on a light heat in the oven and save them for when they're out of season.

I'm too old for all that now, but I used to love my magic mushrooms!
