  1. There is none.  It pretty much ended after Vietnam.  There used to be a great many companies who made their living selling to the US Armed Forces.  It began during World War II.

    When Vietnam ended so did the draft.  A tremendous downsizing took place in the military.  Many of these companies either went out of business or switched to civilian goods and services.

    Today, for many of the things the military needs there is only a single source and in many cases the US military has had to turn to foreign suppliers.
