  1. This is something that cannot be answered here.  It completely depends on the course you want to study as some are more competitive than others, as well as what university you wish to go to for the same reason.  Each university has different admission standards.  Some don't focus on academics as much as interviews and so on.

The only way to find out would be to go somewhere like the UCAS site : http://www.ucas.ac.uk/students/coursesea... and search for a egree you're interested in.  Then get the list of universities that offer that degree.  Go tothe university's web page.  They all have a section on overseas students.  If thos sections don't have the information you need, contact the university and ask.

    Good luck.

  2. The UK system does not go by percentages. But if you are from a a foreign country then yes they might put that into consideration.

BEfore you even think about what course you qualify for at university, you need to do and exam called ILETS, which is a high level English test to prove that you have enough command of the English language.

After that they will ask you to do an equivilant course to bring the standards of your studies to the UK ones. The length of the course will vary, depending on what youhave done already in your home country and what you are planning to do in the UK.

The UK university system has a strict enrollment system and it is done through UCAS. Which is quite a detailed hand written form about yourself.

A normal British student would need 3 A levels or more to gain access to university.  The course they apply for may have spesific requirements like obtaining 3 'merits' or 3 'distinctions' or 1 'pass' and 2 'merits'.

Others may ask for 1 A and 2 Bs etc. So the marking scheme in England varies from course to course.

I have attached the official UCAS link for non-UK students below.

    Hope you find this helpful.
