What is the min. wage for a 17 year old working part time in IL?

I have a friend that just got a summer job and is only being paid 6 dollar an hour! I believe that it should be 7.50 an hour? If the company does not give her a raise what should she do?

yes it is $7.50! she needs to talk to them and if they don't give her a raise she needs to give them her two weeks and activley look for another job who will pay her minimum wage! (she might want to contact her local representative and tell them about it...)
