  1. above poverty level is my guess :-), though a friend of mine actually had his sister co-sign the sponsorship paperwork in order to get his wife/fiance to move from Vietnam to the USA.

  2. you should ask a lawyer to be sure

  3. Justin it depends on how many kids if any you have and where you live. My lawyer has a nice web site that answers alot of questions.http://www.fiancee-visa.net/letters.htm....    I am in the middle of trying to get my fiance here now it takes awhile so I got a lawyer to do my papers. That way I dont have to worry about messing them up. I have been told to send records of 3 years bank account deposits for proof of income she will also need proof of support from you I send money using xoom to my girls bank it saves alot but Western Union is still great if its needed in a hurry..Good luck

  4. If you make more than $14,000/year. If you could read & write, there are no need to hire lawyer, it make no differrent from you doing it yourself. You could go to "www.uscis.gov" to download form and they also tell you how much it'll cost to filled. What ever the INS need from you will be listed in the instruction page.

Form I-129F/ $170. Must be a US Citizen to file this form. Good Luck! ( Take about 9 - 12 months for the first interview with the US Consulate).
