I'm guessing that it's probably 16, but just wondering because I wasn't able to find the answer anywhere.

  1. Cycling requires either extreme endurance or pure muscle power depending on the distance and while there might not be any age restrictions the top cyclists all tend to be in their twenties. Any younger than that and your unlikely to have the physical capabilities to compete.

  2. i thought only gymnastics and diving had age limits. so i think there isn't one for cycling.

  3. u ought to stick with your first instinct, ummm u have to be 16 to do any olympic sport

  4. For U.S. Athletes:

There is no age limit to compete in the Olympics.

However, some sports do have age requirements for health and safety reasons. Competition rules of certain international federations cite age limits as follows:

    - Bobsled (minimum of 14 years old)

    - Boxing (17-32)

    - Diving (minimum of 14)

    - Equestrian (16 or older)

    - Figure skating (15 by July 1 of previous year)

    - Gymnastics (must be 16 years old in Olympic year)

    - Judo (15 or older), luge (16 or older)

    - Soccer (under 23)

    - Team handball (over 18)

    - Weightlifting (17 or older)

    - Wrestling (must be at least 17 on day of Opening Ceremonies).

pretty sure its whatever for cycling, its not on tv but they have pretty cool BMXing in olympics dirt track style

  5. I think it's 16 too. I'm not too sure myself.
