  1. In Illinois, to be a licensed pharmacist, you need to be 21.


  2. In California, and probably most other states,  an applicant for licensure must be at least 18 years old. Considering that it takes at least 6 years of college to earn a Pharm.D. degree I don't think there is a problem for most applicants to meet the age requirement.
