I believe it might be 15, but I'm not sure off hand..

  1. Hello there- Great Question!  You didn't say Which State you are from, but  to be Certain, contact the JOB SERVICE CENTER in the Telephone Directory.  Each State has Different Laws. Most States require that you be 16 Years of Age. the reason Why is the Employer has to Legally Have Insurance on you in case you were to get hurt in his/Her Business. If you are in a Business that Serves Beer and Wine, or Alcohol the Law will say that you can Work there, but cant Pour or Serve Alcohol until your 18 or 21.

    Another thing you might try is to have an adult call the restaurant and ask what is the Minimum age requirement is to work at their Restaurant.
