  1. You caloric intake should be based on how active you are, if you are exercising and very active you want to consume anywhere from 1500-1800, if you are not active, have a sit down job you want to keep your calories down to about 1200 - 1400. The best thing really is to amp up the exercise with sensible eating. If you have any health issues or family members that have, especially heart conditions, talk to your doctor about what the right plan for you is.

  2. 1200.... You want to stay between 1200 and 1500 calories- anything less and you will throw your metabolism into starvation mode

  3. To accurately determine the minimum number of calories you should consume a day you need to figure out your base metabolic needs then add your daily life activities.

If you are trying to loose weight, you should consume 500 - 1000 calories less then your total used.  This will provide a loss of 1 - 2 pounds a week.  If you are trying to gain wight you can do the opposite.

Not eating enough or enough of the right stuff can cause serious health problems even death.

There are a number of credible websites that you can use to determine how many calories a day you need.

    Good luck.

  4. 2000 is about the right number for your height and weight to sustain weight loss without going into starvation mode (if you are exercising). Try going about 350 calories per meal (x6)

  5. 1500ish

  6. 1500...1200 is needed for basicmetabolic functions..but sine you are so tall, i'd say 1500
