  1. The top edge of the crossbar is 3 metres from the ground.

The minimum height of the goal posts is 3.4 metres.

Those used at the Millennium Stadium, Twickenham and Lansdowne Road are 16.8 metres!!

  2. The official dimensions of a rugby goal are as follows:

    5.6 metres between the posts

3.0 metres to the top of the crossbar

3.4 metres (minimum) height of the posts

Most post heights tend to be 8-10 metres, though there is no maximum height laid down in the laws of the game.

  3. There should be 560 centimetres between the posts, 300 centimetres between the ground and the crossbar and the minimum height of the posts should be 340 centimetres.

  4. 3 metres

  5. Depends on the level of the game being played.

Senior Rugby I think is 10 metres minimum

    Junior 7metres
