  1. When seated in the cockpit, a commercial pilot must be able to see out of the windshield, and his/her feet must reach the pedals.

  3. Around 25000-35000 feet. Below that is where all the general aviation pilots fly because most of those planes are not designed to fly as high as commercial aircraft.

  4. There is no required minimum height set forth in the federal aviation regulations.  However, you must be able to see over the instrument panel.  I'm 5'6".
