There isn't a set time, it should however be reasonable.  However, depending on the behaviour which has caused the disciplinary, it may need to be sooner rather than later.

Usually the first one is verbal.  No time frame.  The second one is usually in writing signed by you acknowledging what you did and  to fix the problem immediatly.  The third is written and you could face disciplineary action,  or even termination..
