  1. 60%-69% for a 2.1

  2. Your 2nd year is worth 40% and you 3rd year is worth 60%, so you can make up your marks if you are border line in your 2nd year.

  3. its 60%. i should know, i got 60.9 lol...relief!!

  4. I think it is usually 60%

  5. Here is the university mark scale I was given at the start of my course.

    70 to 100% = A First Class degree

60 to 69% = An upper second class (2.1) degree

    50 to 59% = Lower second class (2.2) degree

    40 to 49% = 3rd class degree

35 to 39% = A narrow fail (but compensation may be allowed in accordance with the University’s rules)

    Less than 35 = Fail

  6. Agreed, 60% minimum.

  7. A 2.1 degree is an overall mark of between 60 and 69. It's determined using all marks from the last 2 years (of a standard 3 year course) at uni, though I don't know if the marks from the 2nd year hold as much sway as the 3rd year. I should probably find out really considering I'm about to start my 2nd year...
