I was in a car accident November 11. The driver who was a teacher failed to yeild. No one suffered serious injuires from the accident. I just have maybe one bill for the ride to the hospital for a panic attack. My lawyer sent off the demand package but i wanted to know what the minimum would be so i can have an idea to buy another car.

  1. There is no minimum, and sorry you will not be able to buy another car with the injury settlement.   Hasn't the insurance company already resolved your Property Damage claim?

You will likely get the cost of the medical bill and a couple hundred dollars.  You had one ER visit.  Is that correct?  What was the attorney's demand?

  2. The minimum is nothing.  Depending on what state you're in, you could be required to only collect under your own policy.

An ambulance ride due to a panic attack isn't injury caused by her - I don't think you'll get ANYTHING for medical or pain and suffering.

    Just my opinion.

  3. There is no minimum, the other company can make any offer they want, then you either accept or make a counter offer.
