What is the minimum wage in Australia?

I've just started working at McDonalds, I'm 16 and will be 17 in less than two months. Apparently my pay will rise after fifteen weeks, also, I'll turn 17 before those fifteen weeks are up, does that mean it will rise a little extra?

i know that an unskilled labourer earns $13.74 an hour......i believe a mcdonalds employees and considering your age would earn a few dollars less than this...I would also definately ask about if it will raise, because if you dont u may not recievemoney that you are entitled to......goood luck

In Canada it is 8.75 and is going to go up to 10.00 by 2010
