What is the minimum wage in Georgia?

Im going dwn there frm Connecticut and my job pays a little over 11.00 an hour. I work in a hospital part time and so I wanted to know how much they make dwn there cause something tells me I won't find a job making the amount now unless its a bank or hospital job.

The minimum wage in Georgia is currently $5.15 and is only applicable to employers of 6 or more employees.

Unfortunately, the State law excludes from coverage any employment that is subject to the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act when the Federal rate is greater than the State rate. Right now the Federal Rate is $6.55
