Also, what is the currency for the country?? And, how much of this currency is equivalent for 1 USD??

    Rupee is the currency.

    1 USD is roughly equal to 45 rupees.

    ( You can get a lunch for as less as 15 to 20 rupees, so you can ger an idea about it )

    Minimum wage in India depends upon the domain in which they are employed.

    There are people who work in Non IT sectors for as low as 200 rupees for a month. (equal to 4 USD).

    In case of IT sectors there are both employees who are paid 2500 to 3000 rupees ( avg: 67 USD) and those who are paid 15000 to 25000 (avg: 445 USD ) at the starting level (freshers)

    a) for unskilled labour USA $ 2 equivalent,

    b) semiskilled like computer operator/clerk around USA $ 4-8

    c) Highly skilled like computer analysists etc USA $ 50 -100 depending on skills

    2- Semi skilled- 2593 Rs/ for 26 working days.

    3-UN skilled       2476 Rs/ for 26 working days..
