  1. i know that the minimum wage in america differs from state to state. The national minimum wage is $7.00.

    As at 1st October 2008,  the Australian Federal Minimum Wage will increase to $14.31 per hour. It is currently $13.74 per hour.  


  3. In Australia the minimum wage varies from state to state, what Brit said does stand though.

    Most Australians would earn at least $15 per hour and more if casual.

    Also note that the ages referred to are for seniors, over 21 years old. Juniors are paid a pro rate rate.

    In Australia, things are currently changing from individual states to Federal based, so exact answers are not so certain at present.
