  1. $8 in California. Yes the feds mandate a minimum wage, but it is exactly that, a minimum. Each state then decides what their wage (above the fed) is.


  2. Minimum wage is mandated by the federal goverment not by individual states in the U.S.

  3. Oregon is something like 7.95

    and it is determined by the state...and the fed.

  6. States are allowed to have minimum wages higher than the federal minimum wage.

    In Pennsylvania, it's $7.15.

    And if your state's is $8.07 then it must be in Washington.
