  1. I barely support my family on 12 an hr and my home is paid for....I used to do pretty good on that til gas and electricity went thru the roof....

  2. Well, I am a full time student so I am dependent on my parents, my college costs average 3k a month, 600 for apartment rent, 30$ internet, 45 cable, 100 dollars every 2 weeks for food.  I live frivilous beyond those comforts mostly buying what I need with only occasional indulgences, maybe 100 dollars more on eating out.  Plus 60 bucks gas for each week. would need to make 4000 a month.  I work less than 20 hours a week and since I am part time and going to school, that job really does not count as a true wage.  (8.20)

If I was working on to survive, I would quit college and go full time which means I would enter management at my work ( I have already been offered by numerous managers at my work)  So my wage would be in the ~12.00 range and for 40 hours a week that would come out to be, 2400.  My costs would be less, at the moment I live in another city than my work so commuting costs money (like I said I am in college.)

    I

  3. I think that really depends on what I'm allowed to slide past doing.  Honestly, I could live wayy less if I were allowed to go into neighborhoods and kill peoples pets for food.

  4. 18.00 hrly. Of course after roughly a 1/3 taken out by taxes that would leave me with a $1920 a month. not very much considering monthly bills- rent, gas(car & home), electricity, phone service, car payment, vehicle and health insurance( self and child), trash & water services, household necessities, food, child care expenses occasional entertainment. Really dosent leave much for the unexpected,ie; doctor, dentist visits, meds, car problems

I honestly can't comprehend how people survive on anything less. I'm barely makin it and am contemplating a second job

I really believe that other than thrifty shopping and being more frugal with spending in the entertainment dept.  I'd still be like millions of other people , just getting by.

  5. 500 (Australian) pw to maintain current.

Survive honestly, within the parameters of what society considers acceptable? 350-400.

Luckily I make a higher figure than both.
