I have done a little of this proble but im not sure if its right

(12 liters of wine/100 liters of wine) x (100 mL/1 L) (.89 grams/ 1mL)(1 moles/ 46 grams)...

is this set up right or did I do something wrong?? thanks I cant really afford a tutor

  1. Let wine be called W. Let ethanol be called E. Also, I think that the density of ethanol is 0.89g/mL = 890g/L

    Atomic weights: C=12  H=1  O=16  C2H6O=46

    12LE/100LW x 890gE/1LE x 1molE/46gE = 2.32 mole ethanol per L solution (molarity to three significant figures)
