Philippines vs. the world.  Filipino players are dominating the competition at the moment.  The defending world 9-ball champion is a Filipino named Ronnie Alcano.  Legendary players like Efren Reyes and Django Bustamante are still playing fantastic pool and still winning tournaments every now and then.  And then of course, you have the fast-rising young Filipino players like Dennis Orcollo, Lee Van Corteza and others who are giving their elders a run for their money.
