I have an almost 15 month old that loves to drink. So, he loves to pee. He has never slept through the night. I am not asking for medical help we have a doctor that is helping with the sleep stuff and there isn't a problem with him other than just a habit of drinking. Since he doesn't sleep all night and does drink so much we are changing sheets almost daily. I already change him during the night, but somehow he still wets the bed. I really don't want to buy every brand there is to test on him. We are currently using Luvs, which worked great on my daughter. I don't like the fact that pampers are so cloth like that the moisture comes out the front of the diaper. (at least the newborn diapers did this) Huggies leaked with my daughter, but I haven't tried them with him. We have tried all generic brands and don't really want to spend a lot if we can help it. I have thought about trying the good nites with him. What do you think? Is there a diaper that can hold up to a flooding dam? Please any advice is greatly appreciated.

  1. I would give pampers another try if I were you and then I would put an extra plastic cover over them or even a cloth diaper cover.

    Good luck

  2. I really like Pampers ... and for my 2nd daughter who pee'd alot ... we would just put a plastic cover over her diaper at night just in case :-)

  3. Huggies does make an overnight diaper but they smell so bad in the morning.  We always used Pampers Cruisers with our sons and never had a problem.

  4. Huggies have a kind of diapers called Good Nights, which are extra absorbant that are great for using at night.

Edit; wait, that is not what they are called. those are the pull ups. let me think for a minute

---- Okay, they are called Huggies Overnights. I think they only go up to size five or something, though.

  5. I know what you mean about Pampers being so cloth like.  However, they are the best for absorbency.   I used Pampers Swaddlers on my son until he was around 15 months, then I switched to Pampers Cruisers.  My son drinks and drinks too.  He has very, very wet diapers and Cruisers worked the best.  He would have a diaper that felt like it weighed 10lbs in the morning, but the sheets were not wet.  I honestly think I have only had to change the sheets once because of pee while using Cruisers.  I tried Huggies overnights because it seemed like they should be very absorbent, but, he peed right through them the first night.  Now, he is 2 and I use Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers Cruisers, which ever I can find on sale.  The Baby Dry work good too, but, I prefer the Cruisers.  The Cruisers and the Baby Dry are not as cloth like as the Swaddlers, so you may like them better.

  6. pampers always work best for us but NOT the baby dry pampers those really are not very absorbant!
