I recently got interested in Numerology. But some books are not adding up to be accurate. I do my name and D.o.b. and some books get my personality etc right on, and some books don't. What to you, is the most accurate book on Numerology? I'm not talking about the "best" book or "most popular" book, I just want the one that has methods and info that is very accurate. Thanks.

  1. Accurate numerology is a contradiction in terms. It is all random calculations and spurious correlations. If you get lucky, something might make sense, but it is only coincidence.

  2. You may as well just use the telephone book!  Numerology is junk science; it's not really even that (a science) at all.  It's just junk.  It's not real.  It's a myth.  It's made-up.  It's not normal.  Is that enough reasons to get you to stop wasting your time on this c**p?

  3. Why don't you just do what all numerologists, astrologers, mystics, new agers, scientologists, and mythical religious types do, and go with the one book that gives you the answers you want and ignore all the other books?

  4. The best book I have seen, well to date that is... The Complete Idiots Guide to Numerology.. has lots of  interesting things to do...

  5. i study numerology, and yes it all adds up correct...the best person to get info from is blair gorman, at numerologist.com....there is so much more to numerology

  6. It sounds to me like you're getting random results, and that is exactly what I'd expect you'd get from different books on Numerology. Numerology isn't a science but a superstition, and since everybody has their own superstitions, it's expected that different books are going to tell you different things.

Before you dig in too deep with numerology, my advice would be to investigate a bit on how and why it is supposed to work, and then judge for yourself whether you're dealing with a science or a superstition. If you're okay with the superstitious aspect, then I'd say enjoy your hobby but the last thing you should be expecting from it is accuracy.

  7. From what i understand there are 3 different systems on numerology. I do not have a vast knowledge, but I'll impart what I have learned. First you have to pick a system that resonates with you. You could try googling "numerology systems" and see what pops up.

I was told that numbers and letters have vibrations all their own. I wish I knew some titles for you, but I feel that the first step is to pick the system you like and study only that one. Each system works slightly different from the other.

  8. Numerology is created from the Latin word 'numerus', which means 'number', and the Greek word 'logos', which means 'word', 'thought', 'expression'.

  9. After we sort this one out, I was hoping that you guys could help me find the most accurate book on the anatomy of dragons

  10. Well it depends upon the person who reads the book. If a book rightly describe my personal traits as per numerology, it will be accurate for me . However, the same book may not clearly described personality of other reader. Thus it will not be accurate for him. For me the book which has been the most accurate is "Cheiro's Books of Numbers". It is an old and popular book. There is a website also http://www.free-numerology.org which is based on the teaching of this book. You can also buy it from Amazon.com. May be that helps you.

  11. There are 0 books that are accurate.  This is like astrology.  They make a host of vague assertions hoping that they can sort of get most of them right.

Why would there be some mystical connection between numbers, letters and your personality?  What is the mechanism?  If you assign numbers to letters and then add up the numbers then somehow that means I'm a nice guy who is cautious with my money (or something like that)?

  12. numerology the complete guide by matthew oliver goodwin is a very accurate book that has various volumes. It teaches you from step one numerology to the more sophisticated methods. I really recommend this book and it has been really accurate for me.
