  1. The Laws are similar to the US in a way.

There's no weird laws, Just don't break any and you'll get along just fine.

    Good Luck. = )

  2. You should just go there. You will never truely know what its like unless you're there.

  3. I live in Ireland, I don't know all the laws, although there seems to be a law for everything. what difference does it make what they are. there is no such thing as a good law. they mostly prohibit things which is why they are all annoying.

  4. I'd ask yourself, why do you want to live in Ireland? What can Ireland give you that your present country does not.

I live in  Ireland but we are not without our problems and pay taxes like everyone else.Good Luck

  5. We don't have any strange laws or anything! The laws we have are for our own safety and health!

  6. Are you joking? The laws are basically the same as anywhere else. Not much crime, nice people.

It's the weather that will run you out of the country!

  7. What are you worried about the laws for? Are you thinking of breaking any?

Radar detectors are illegal in Ireland.

  8. come visit. u can go to a departmen and ask if u want. everyone is nice so unles there buisy they wont mind. and if ur of age theres great beer lol. i hope u do move!

  9. You need to visit Ireland before you can decide if you want to come and live here.  Some people have highly romanticised ideas of what Ireland is like.

We were the first to introduce the ban on smoking in the workplace.  This is a terrific law. Even smokers agree. The downside is that  you now have to run the gauntlet of smokers to enter any building.  We were also the first to place a tax on plastic bags to stop the littering of them.

Downsides are not really laws. Our taxes are quite high, 21 percent and 42 per cent. Tax is high on alcohol cigarettes petrol and purchase of cars.  These are not necessarily bad - it depends on your point of view.

I think just looking for examples of the law is a silly way to decide if you want to come here if you don't mind me saying so.  Do a bit of research on Ireland (not through Wikipedia which is often incorrect) and decide that way.

  10. Guarunteed Irish...what part of Ireland do you come from?  Cities all over the World have beggars and homeless people...

Laws in Ireland. Abortion is illegal, there is no death penalty, taxes are high....

  11. most annoying law is that everyone has the right to beg pathetic!!!cant walk anywhere in city got to ATM stop at traffic light or eat in fast food restaurant with out being hassled

  12. Em I'm slightly worried about why you want to come here - what laws would you like us to have or not have?! :o)

Personally I don't think there are any worst ones cos they're all there for a reason and so far none have inhibited me.

The best recently that has affected me is the smoking ban in public places and workplaces (not on the street just indoors). I haven't had a chest infection since.
