What is the most appropriate time for take Ayurvedic Treatment after Episiotomy? Should it taken immediately after Episiotomy, or after some days of Episiotomy? If the situation is improving at 5 or 6 weeks through conventional treatment, should I consider Ayurvedic medicine for avoid possible future problems? Although I know Episiotomy will be healed by time and conventional treatment, but I want to ensure to get back normal life same as before, for which I am little confused if it is totally possible or not by mainstream treatment. If I think to use "Gotu Kola" or "Peri Balm", is it effective only primary days, or can be helpful to use any future time? Should I use these now, or can keep it for future? I think, at present time I can let the healing process on time and conventional treatment; and I can consider alternate medicine only in future time, if I face any problem or see any imperfection remain in the healing. But I confused these medicines will be effective after years or not

  1. As one a few weeks away from delivering and dreading the healing from an episiotomy, I have to ask what this is? I have never heard of Ayurvedic treatment.
