A politician that drinks scotch or an average citizen that smokes pot?

What is the difference? I don't think there is much, except that the one who drinks is more lilely to be abusive. Let me know your opinion.

  1. neither is evil

    and there is no difference

its a adult making a adult decision

and what can be evil about that

  2. On a social level I would agree with you.  But unfortunately drinking is legal if at the right age and within the legal limit (while driving).  Pot on the otherhand is illegal; and that is the bad rap which has placed on it from long ago.  I understand a person can only get so high smoking pot, even if they smoke all day long; they are subject to act silly or fall asleep.  In contrast, a person drinks more than 3 glasses is subject to act a violent fool or verbally harrass.  But law has labeled one behavior criminal and the other disorderly (until an assault takes place).  I think if politicians all got together after adjourning and passed some joints around they might be more effective.

  3. there is a difference, scotch is legal and is available, pot is not. there for you have no idea what your talking about. someone who drinks  excessively can be abusive and so can someone who smokes pot. dont be stupid.

  4. The one drinking scotch is obeying the law, the one who is smoking pot is not! Sooo, you are wrong! However, I personally would like to see pot legalized the same way alcohol is.
