  1. "Bel Canto" by Ann Patchett. It's a short novel about an group that gets held hostage by political rebels in South America, but who manage to find beauty and friendship in their captivity. It's a marvelous book. I highly recommend it.

  2. Umm I have read several... I would say Crave & Little Girl Lost are the two most painful but beautiful books I have ever read. Made go through all emotions... A beautiful book to me is one I can truly have a full connection with.

Both books are about young women, with horrible pasts, but overcoming their past issues day by day...

  3. The Picture Of Dorian Gray

    By: Oscar Wilde

I love it because it makes you think a lot about people around you and the struggles within each individual. In the book Dorian is supposed to be the "it" kid [so to speak] and he has this internal struggle about his youth and a fear that if he looses it he will become nothing. Also Lord Henry is my favorite character ever. He is so developed and intriguing.

It really is an incredible book.

  4. Sense and Sensibility is one of the beautiful books I've ever read.

  5. Peter pan by JM BARRIE - it is beautifully written and has an inspirational view of childhood innocence. It is much deeper than disney would have you believe .

A poem would have to be vultures , but i cant remember the author . It's about human nature and how humans can love and hate people at the same time - two very strong emotions !

  6. I'm rather fond of The Village Blacksmith by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

  7. Cerca tiene la luna, mi amor ha muerto.

It's a line from a Lorca poem.  Roughly translated:  "The moon has a halo, my love has died."

  8. Ok so I have 3 favorite books:

    ~"Quo Vadis"

Quo Vadis, is a Polish historical novel written by Henryk Sienkiewicz.

Quo vadis is a Latin phrase meaning "Where are you going?", referring to the time in Christian tradition when Saint Peter met Jesus on his way to be crucified.

Quo Vadis tells of a love that develops between a young Christian woman, Ligia (or Lygia), and Marcus Vinicius, a Roman patrician. It takes place in the city of Rome under the rule of emperor Nero around AD 64.

    ~"La Medeleni"

La Medeleni, is a Romanian novel written by Ionel Teodoreanu.

The universe of La Medeleni reflects the upper-middle-class environment in Romania during the early decades of the 20th century. It depicts the innocence of childhood which the ravages of the World War and its aftermath would soon shatter.

    ~"Bridge to Terabithia"

    Written by Katherine Paterson

Bridge to Terabithia is the story of fifth grader Jesse Aarons, who befriends his new neighbor Leslie Burke when he loses a footrace to her at school. Leslie is a smart, talented, outgoing tomboy. Jesse thinks highly of her. Jesse is an artistic boy who, in the beginning of the novel, is fearful, angry, and depressed. After meeting, and then ultimately losing Leslie, Jesse is transformed. He becomes courageous and lets go of his anger and frustration.

They are really my favorite an I've read them 3 or 4 times untill now.
