In my short life, I must say that the most boring place is Prince Edward Island in the winter. The entire time the tourists are here in the summer, it is a lush, bustling province drowning in its own culture. But after they leave, the island plunges into a 6 or 7 month season of snowstorms and -20 temperatures. Not to mention the most wind in the world. Then, struggles into spring (which starts in May) when you can have a freak 25ºC one day and -5 the next. The weather means that nobody wants to visit, so everyone but the grocery stores close up in the winter. Talk about hostile wasteland. Though from what I've seen of the prairies, they look pretty dull too.
