What is the most common gas station in california?

I just am heading there for a couple months and have was thinking about bringing some gas cards on hand and wanted to know what brand is most common, not neccessarily the cheapest.

theres teh southern california Gas company

and there must be others

The most common ones are Chevron, Mobil, 76, and Arco. There are some Shell stations. Occassionaly you will run across an Exxon. There are a handful of smaller stations, mostly Valero. There are no BP stations in SoCal, but I think BP cards are accepted at Arco.
