  1. If u drop it pick it up..

Put it in the bin.and recycle as much as u can.

  2. getting our local councils to spend money on solar panels and power storage units on council properties instead of spending the obscene amounts that they are on upgrading TV aerials so people can get digital freeview.

I know that a lot of councils are spending millions to upgrade tv aerial systems as i used to be an IRS (Integrated Receiver Systems) Engineer.

I'm probably asking a silly question but wouldn't you prefer to save your yearly electricity bill money and have the ability to have cable tv instead which would save you money in the long run and the enviroment?

  8. Before you ever buy some thing, hold the container, and plan what you can do with it.

How much of the purchase price it the packaging?

Recycle: batteries, metals, glass, paper, computers.

If you eat out, don't purchase to go food in Styrofoam, or waxed cups.

  9. Eat more vegitarian food. This doesn't mean BE a vege, just do that more often.

The industry set up around meat farming is huge and environmentally very destructive, mostly due to the transport of the meat (some fish caught in british waters are then shipped back to a far off country for processing before being sent here to sell) and the food aditives the animals are given. Besides this they often polute water and natural habitats are cleared to make room for the farms. Eating an extra vege meal or two each week would do an enormous amount to help.

  10. Kill all old people, say over 60's. This way it would free up all us youngsters to have a bigger carbon footprint.

  11. Hang all the tree huggers and other nutty environmentalists

    Recycle everything possible.

  16. use your brain, if everyone just stopped and though before they jumped into their cars and went out to make yet another purchase, they should think do I really need this item, or do I just want it, can I use something I already have? can I get this second hand so I save on manufacturing?

it is surprising how just a little thinking can stop so much spending which in turn will do the planet a huge deal of good

  17. dont touch it in any way

  18. Stop having babies. The biggest reason for the degradation of the planet is that there are too many of us and this is going to get worse.

  19. use shredded denim waste as batt insulation in you ceiling and walls.

I make my disposable razors last a year or more by not picking the razor up on the return stroke; no elect. used, less waste in the landfills & money saved.

  20. Well if you believe the c**p our Governments and media spout then more of your hard earned money through Taxation would be suffice. However how much of your hard earned money that will "actually" get spent on the environment is another matter............

  21. Creative?  Start showing what we are all doing!  And that comes down to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!  Pepsi is doing a cool new initiative on their cans to remind people to recycle- each can will now have a recycling fact on it to remind people of the positive impact they can have by recycling that one can.  For example, "Recycling could save 95% of the energy used to make this can"
