I have been wondering which part of the earth is the most desolated and free of Human Activity? I was leaning towards the Sahara Desert in Northern Africa or the Outback region in Australia. What do you think?

  1. Probably the Taklimakan Desert in China, there is nothing there and as far as I know uninhabited.

There are people living in the Sahara Desert and it is regularly crossed by camal trains.  The Australian Outback is desolate in parts, but not completely uninhabited.
