What is the most difficult/challenging whitewater rafting run open to the public around west PA /WV?

We are looking for the hardest run we can go on - we live in Ohio.

Yes, I believe it is the Class VI Upper Gauley. They also have class V rapids - same company - simply called the lower and upper river. I used the company "ClassVI"

Commercial services use equipment that minimizes the difficulty of Grade V or less runs. You can maximize a difficult/challenging  run  by using a smaller raft than the commercial service uses. Rafting companies use different raft sizes depending on the water level or volume. You may also consider rafting when the water levels are highest if you really want 'challenge'. Some rivers close their runs during peak water levels but boaters sneak in!
