  1. Spell the longest name for a city.

    ********************

    Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrob...

WALES boasts a village called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrob... (58 letters), which in English means "Saint Mary's Church in the hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of Saint Tysilio near the red cave." The locals call it Llanfairpwll (pronounced thlan vire puth). We'll call it L56h.

LOL The name is so long that YA does not accept the whole word!!!

  2. This popular soft drink was originally targeted at mothers as a tummy soother for their babies. At that time, it was known as Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda. Needless to say, with a name like that, it was headed for the “skids”. Pushing chance to the limit, C.L. Grigg, the product’s inventor, decided to change its name to the name of a bankrupt chocolate bar company. When solvent, this company had produced a bar which was marketed as having seven different fillings.

  12. Q: What cheese is MADE backwards?

    A: Edam.

It is a very simple “trick” question that stumps them every time. And because it (when you know the answer) is so simplistic, it actually makes it rather hard. I have asked this trivia question and had teams pulling their hair out over it.

BUT it can only be used in England and other countries that actually sell Edam cheese.
