What is the most disgusting thing you've seen happen at a restaurant or fast food place?

I want to know? I know its unhealthy and on top of that its unsanitary.

  1. An incredibly rude waitress that really offended my entire group.


  2. A roach on the floor at a Chinese restaurant.

    Then an employee killed it with a wet rag and wiped the buffet area with it.

  3. a nineteen year old guy having a date with a 68 year old guy. they were sharing comments and everyone was starring it was so weird. i was disturbed as h**l.

  4. When our meal was brought at a local Mexican restaurant (not a chain), a big brown bug (roach?) crawled out of the silverware/napkin bundle. I'll never go there again!

  5. Okay, so a large group of us went out to dinner - the waitress gives my plate to another person in our group and he starts eating it.  The waitress, realizing she made the mistake, took that plate and set it in front of me.  

    Uh, hello, someone else has been eating this already.

  6. sitting in a restaurant in newyork and a mouse ran on my feet, down the stairs and someone stepped on it. grossssssssssssssssssssssss

  7. Wendy's: someone clipping their fingernails at their table, I suppose I should be glad it wasn't their toenails.

    Hometown Buffet: redneck dude at salad bar couldn't find tongs to get some croûtons, so he just reached in the container and grabbed a whole bunch with his bare hand. I told my waitress though and they changed them out.

  8. I work at burger king and the grossest thing I've seen is a hat stuck in the fry machine. It was going around and around with all the fries  all day. GROSS!

    Oh a close second would be watching my manager drop plastic tongs in the fryer and having them melt and just leaving it because it was too close to close to chance the grease. So the next day people were eating plastic fried foods...

  10. I worked in a place years ago - it's long-since closed - that had a huge roach problem.  The grossest thing I ever saw was a roach crawling on a wall near the grill - the cook reached up and smacked the roach with his spatula, then used the same spatula to flip the burger he was cooking.

  11. I must be one lucky person, because I have not seen anything disgusting at a restaurant or Fast Food place.  The only thing that happened to me was that I found a bone in my McDonald's Chicken McNuggets.  I don't order chicken from them anymore.

  12. I was at a mall and at this particular resteraunt, a lady was about to put food into those foam containers when she saw a fly. She killed the fly with the container and went on putting food into it. My mom was so disgusted, we had to leave the mall!!!

At a  drive-through Rotisserie Chicken place, I had given my order and was waiting at the little window to pick up my chicken when I see two employees playing with a chicken like it was a football... It was late at night and they were in a corner and probably thought no one could see them.  I left.

  14. I WAS AT RALLY'S AND AS THE PERSON BEHIND THE WINDOW WAS PASSING ME MY BEVERAGE... A ROACH WAS CRAWLING IN CIRCLES AROUND THE COVER OF THE CUP...I ASKED FOR A REFUND AND HAVEN'T BEEN TO A RALLY'S SINCE! (OVER 7YRS AGO)

  15. I was at a local mexican restaurant that had a lunch buffet and when I went to get a plate from their pop up plate rack the waterbug/roaches came pouring out.  I didn't finish my meal.  I felt pretty sick to my stomach.  Yuck!!!!!!!!!

When it was finished ther was something in her mouth and she pulled it out... It was a fingernail!!!!!! most dusgusting thing experience i hav ever had at a food place - and i work at mcdonalds... lol

  20. the worst that i have see has nothing to do with food, as a matter of fact, a disabled man in a wheelchair and his elder wife were refused servcie due that the restaurant wasn't equip with wheelchair access.

  21. hamburger joint:Counter personnel tossing a gray (originally white) counter wiping rag back and forth, dropped on the floor, continued to toss back and forth and landed in the hot sauce and then continued to use the hot sauce,

    Lums:  Watching the rats parade in & out of the dumpster from our seats.  

    Restaurant:  Watching a roach crawl out from under my plate and then the waitress took away my 1/4 eaten meal when I told her what I had seen (didn't replace it)  Had to sit there with nothing to do while my companions finished  their meal. (We aren't that finicky)

  22. o bro and i was at american buffet or w.e and was under the top thing near the windows  and a cockroach or bettle flew down on our finished plates or were they!

    and i heard one of my friends talking about him and another friend working at mickey D's and his friend said something about if you see a nike print in his burger!

  23. A mouse being killed with the basket from a deep fryer and then being put back without being cleaned in anyway. *shudder*

  25. On Gordon Ramsey's "Kitchen Nightmares" one episode showed a restaurant serving rotten tomatoes and having cockroaches in the fridge. You should watch that show because it makes you never want to eat our again

  26. VERY OVERWEIGHT PEOPLES who continue to eat at the all you can eat-buffet. That is sick.

  27. My mom and I thought her ice cream cone tasted funny (like rotten), so we asked for a different flavor and the lady just took the scoop off the cone and put it right back into the bin...after we had both licked it.

  28. I was at a local diner and this waitress came by with a plate of their famous loaded fries.  This little kid was right there and she stumbled over him dropping the plate of fries.  She then stops, picks up the fries WITH HER BARE HANDS but doesn't get all of it, and then she proceeds to step ON the mess on her way back to the kitchen!

  29. A huge guy at wendys served my food with green and yellow fingernails that were sooooo long!! When i went back to my table where i was sitting i found  rolled up balls of green "gunk" sitting on top of my cover of my soda....almost threw up

  30. watching the person put down a MOP and start cooking without making any attempt to wash hands etc.

    Many other incidents along these lines.

    Food wise, we were kids in Nova Scotia eating crabs..and my sister POPPED her crabs eye.
