  1. take a bus, check greyhound and such

  2. hitch hike, or post ads on the university website, craigslist, your local newspaper, or usedtoronto.com

  3. Go Transit does not go to Waterloo.

Greyhound has the cheapest fares.  The terminal is at Dundas and Bay.

  4. go transit

  5. Take the subway to Dundas station (will cost you either $2.75 or $1.85, depending on whether you're considered an adult or student). Walk about 5 minutes from Dundas station to the Toronto Coach Terminal. Buy a coach bus ticket to Kitchener (not Waterloo, because those buses only operate a few times a day). It will cost $30 more or less, depending on whether you're considered and adult or student. Take that coach bus to Kitchener. At the Kitchener bus terminal, take the regular city bus that pulls up under the sign that says "U of W". It will take you right onto campus. I don't remember the exact route or how much that bus fare is, but you can find that on the Grand River Transit website.
