  1. Aging a minimum of 14 days. .Dry or wet aging will tenderize meat


  2. you can use different kind of drinks like sprite, coke, rootbeer, also you can try pineapple juice. but dont leave it on for too long. you can only soak it a max of 30 minutes.

  4. I can't believe you asked this question here! Nobody has ever done this before. You have destroyed the sanctity of our community. Boo hoo. Wah. Wah. Why would you ask us about meat? Don't you know that every time a vegetarian sees the word meat or hears about its preparation we go home and cry? The vegans shrivel up and become catatonic. I would brandish my cross but it is too late. Oh, woe is me.

    Seriously, though, stay away from the meat tenderizers that you buy in the supermarket. They'll eat through your tissues, too. Try beer.

  10. Commercial tenderizers are normally made from papaya or a sythesized version of the enzyme found in it.  Very effective.

    Pineapple juice also works, but then you have to accept the sweet flavor of the juice which isn't always what you are looking for.  Good on chicken though.
