When giving a kid or a young adult a lesson, it is better to let them experienced first then give them a lesson after, but is this technique work for an old man too? Since, old man has so much more experience then the youths, so it may not necessary to let them had the experience first then lesson after. When trying to give lesson to young men, they love to argue, and old men love to criticize. In addition, if you go around and try to teach people about a particular subject that nobody asks for it then you are more likely to teach a pig to sing and it wastes your precious time, and it annoys the little pig lol… So, how do you teach an old man opposite point of view (open minded) or new things?

“Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time, and it annoys the pig”.

“Never try to teach an old dog new trick”.

  1. You have to make them question their own positioning coming from a broader context than they pose.

  2. The most effective way of teaching an old man is to have him recant his life story. That is also conveniently the most effective way to teach a young man.

  3. You get an old woman to deliver the lesson . . . . even though he might act like he's not . . . . he will listen.
