What is the most effective way to tone your abs? Will sit-ups suffice? or are there any other special exercises?

  1. Ab exercises such as crunches and sit-ups are actually the least effective method of getting flat six pack abs.

    High intensity, full body exercise is hands down the best way to tone your abs.  Your abs are the core of your body, so doing full body exercise will tone your abs better than doing isolating abs exercise, which may make your abs tight, but they are not intense enough to burn the fat you need to make your abs actually show!

    Here are the most effective exercises for toning abs and losing fat:

    Deadlifts

    Squats

    Renegade Dumb-bell Rows

    T-Pushups

    Hill Sprints


  2. I've always thought sit ups were a great way for toning your abs anything that gets your stomach muscles contracting really. I think Isometrics are good too, by tensing and holding your stomach muscles for several seconds at a time and the beauty is you can do that anywhere.
