I have seen packs of cards from 99 cents to over $150 a pack & I think those hi end packs are made my Sweet Spot,I think,  which is made by Upper Deck.

Upper Deck, because I purchased a few boxes of their Ultimate Collection at $350 each and Upper Deck Exquisite Basketball at $500 per "PACK", when they first released a few years ago.

Anyways, their collation and guaranteed stars, rookies and insert cards are the best out of all the card companies out there and when they mean "guaranteed", you always get your money's worth.

Out of the $500 pack of UD Exquisite Collection Basketball, I received a LeBron James patch # card w/ autograph out of #23, two low # regular rookie cards, a 1/1 Paul Pierce parallel card, Michael Jordan jersey card w/autograph out of #23, low # Delonte West rookie card, Larry Bird # patch card w/autograph out of #33.  I'm sure my card values out of that pack were worth over 2K!
